Lanao del Norte is a majestic province
blessed with wonders of nature. Located in the Northern Mindanao, the province
is surrounded by the mountains of
Bukidnon on the east, water by
the Iligan Bay on the north, and Illana Bay and Celebes Sea on the south and
southwest. The province is greatly provided with rich soil and marine resources
making the primary livelihood based on agriculture.
One of the prime features of Lanao del Norte is Iligan City also coined as the City of Falls because
of the presence of 23 majestic falls within the city boundary fed mostly by
the water coming from the great Lanao Lake, the second largest lake in the
Philippines.
I was given a chance to have a
break and visit Iligan coming from Surigao del Sur. It is just 45 minutes bus travel coming from
Cagayan de Oro.
Activities I did:
- A visit to the Tinago Falls
- Ma. Cristina Hydro-electric Plant and Falls
- NPC Nature Park
- Litson Litson sa Iligan

ReplyDeleteWow falls! I've been wanting to explore the 3 falls we have nearby, but due to the bad weather recently I never had the chance yet. Hopefully soon.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to see water falls like this. I think it is so refreshing to stay and experience swimming beside this place.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! I'd love to just go there now, relax and savor God's grace!
