Heading to the island we saw a calm part of the ocean
where you can see from the crystal clear water the rich and diverse coral
formations with colorful school of fish swimming to different directions. No
need to do some scuba to enjoy the beauty of the rainforest of the sea as it
was like visiting the famous and artificial aquatic sanctuary,Manila Ocean Park. In this area you are watching the colorful and free marine species
and its beautiful habitat from above of the open sea without glasses as barrier to your view.
Getting there
Coming from Butuan or Northern Mindanao
Take a Bachelor bus heading to Davao. Alight at Tagum Integrated Terminal Station. Take A bus bound to Mati . Bus fare is around Php500. From Mati Bus Terminal hire a habal habal (motorcycle) to take you to Brgy. Tamisan. Look for someone who would rent their motorized banca and haggle with the price. For a complete island tour, the minimum is Php 1000.00
Coming from Davao City
From the Ecoland Bus Terminal Station , directly hop to Mati Bachelor bus. Bus leaves every hour bound to Mati. Fare is around Php 200.00
